What I Do
As a therapist, my role is to help you gain insight into overcoming patterns in your life that leave you feeling stuck. My goal is to provide an exploration of new ways to approach your experiences. With new insight and tools, I hope to help empower you to create positive change in your life.
How I Do It
My focus is to work with families, couples, and individuals from a Narrative and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy perspective, in an effort to help find healthy ways to overcome difficulties and gain greater satisfaction in life. I have a particular emphasis on providing emotionally safe, supportive and affirming services to marginalized families including those identifying as BIPOC and LGBTQIA. I am also trained in directive and child centered play therapy, Trauma Focused CBT and Eye Motion Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).
